Disrespecting the Tea Plant?

by Sunyatea » Apr 25th, '20, 00:02

Hey teaheads, would you consider it disrespectful to throw away the Tea leaves in the trash rather than composting them in a compost bin or throwing them outside in the dirt to decompose naturally?

Best,

Best,
What a beautiful thought!

I suppose it depends on your level of spirituality and accessibility! I'm hoping to start a compost pile in my next home as my current place doesn't allow for composting.

I incorporate knowledge of Tao, Zen, Buddhism, Hinduism, Ahimsa and my own inner intuition daily. This was the guidance I felt moved by when working with the Tea plant since it offers so much and it's spirit becomes part of us, why not give it a proper and respectful burial from the same place it came from, back into the earth!? ~
