Another photo. I tried to clean it, some of it come off, but it's still there. I think it's something from water but I have no way to check it in any way

Where do you get it from? It definitely looks like it could be deposits from a high mineral water. Try cleaning it with boiling water some more. If the pot itself is from a trusted source, clay wise, I wouldn't worry about using it. Maybe let some brewed tea, no leaves, in the pot to see if it soaks anything up.

I've got it from one of previously mentioned here vendors - https://www.ebay.ie/usr/lukevecent. Tbh it's really hard to clean due to size of teapot (120ml) but boiling water helps removing that. Maybe with more usage i will get rid of all this. It doesn't affect my tea in any way so I don't think it's something harmful, but it's my first yixing and im just new to this world, so

Nothing to worry about. I'll have that stuff sitting under the lid's knob of several of my pots. It's caused by the tap water mineral deposits and chlorine. From time to time I scrub it off with a toothbrush, a bit of bleach and water.

Thank you for answer! It is weird that it came to me already with this deposit. It must have been used or stored under some inappropriate conditions.

Bleach sounds pretty ... Hardcore. Will it not destroy the teapot? And if it's common practice, could you share the bleach-to-water ratio? I don't plan to use it for now, but if it ever bothers me, maybe I'll try

Not necessarily chlorinated water will cause that easily....and it will stay there forever unless you remove it.

Nope, no harm to the pot. I pour a bit of bleach in a glass, fill it up with distilled or filtered water, plunge the toothbrush in and then scrub off the stain until it is gone.

Ratio? I don't measure it, probably 1/2 Tbsp.

Make sure you rinse the pot really well afterwards. I also put the pots outside to dry in the sun. Alternatively place it the oven and bake the thing for 10-15 min until nice and hot. It will be dead dry.

Yixing pots hate humid conditions. They will easily go mouldy if not kept really dry. Bad stuff, a lot worse than mineral or chlorine deposits.
