Antique Japanese Jakatsu glaze teapot

by Agaberry » Jun 17th, '21, 12:44

Hi,
Done a quick search on here and could find nothing.
I got this wormy ware/ water droplet glaze or Jakatsu (also seen spelled yakatsu and aikatsu) old teapot. Know for sure it's ore 1950s cause that's since previous owner had it. Any ideas how to date it more accurately and what tea to have in?!?!
Thanks

I have now found out similar examples reliably dated 1850-1860s
