Mango Green

by Al » Aug 24th, '07, 15:12

I'm pleased to see Adagio is selling mango green now. I didn't even know it was available until finding a sample along with my Utilitiea order (thanks!).

I'm normally not big on the flavored stuff, but mango green makes the best iced tea I've come across to date.

So, to summarize:

Kudos!

Thanks, Al! So good to hear. We just blended it along with three other flavored greens: Cherry, Vanilla and (my fav of the lot) Raspberry.
MMMmmmm!

I know I'm totally revealing my nerdy core here, but I really love the written descriptions for these new teas--very witty, and a pleasant departure from the drier descriptions of things like the cocomint, ginseng, etc. From Chekhov to drupelets, sun princesses to ice cream I enjoyed them all. Clever, clever!

Damn...that vanilla is SO GOOD! I know it has no lotus in it or anything but it reminds me of the lotus tazo tea from starbucks that I miss so much.

I don't know why but when I made a pot today it tasted just like how I remembered lotus...i love it!

The Vanilla Green has such a comfort food quality!

Never tried the Tazo Lotus. Was there any floral note to it?

i hate mangos but 2 weeks ago i was at the boutique where i buy my and the featured tea was a mango tea (it might have even been green) and i accepted a cup just because it was a free cup of tea but was pleasantly surprised- it tasted like strawberries. still not my first choice in tea but it was better than mango:)
