Water thermometer
Do any of you measure the temperature of the hot water for brewing your greens and whites? I plan on getting one (if it isn't too expensive). Do you have any recommendations for a digital thermometer?

I just got this one 2 days ago:

It's outstanding. It updates every 1 sec. and is accurate. I've had 2 other ones that I wasn't happy with at all and this one is by far the best I've come across.

The cheap-o thermometer I bought from Wal-Mart is identical to the one from Target in shape, placement of the switch, and even the exact shape of the opening for the LCD. Besides teh brand (Mine is TEMPRITE) and another bit of text, and the minimum temp reading, they are identical.
And within a few dollars of each other.
I'd just about guess it's a rebranding of the same device.

Hi,
This is an interesting topic.
I am developing a programmable, digital tea thermometer and I would love to get feedback from fellow tea lovers.
(moderator edit: please see link in member profile. Josh, please read forum guidelines...welcome to the forum)
Please let me know if you think this idea would appeal to other tea lovers... and if you have any ideas for other enhancements. Also, how much do you think it should sell for?
Thanks,
Josh

Tea Thermometer
But this one is not programmable with an alarm, is it?
Do y'all think that having something programmable and with an alarm is valuable?
Thanks,
Josh
