Yes, I know this has been mentioned 1,000 times with little traction.
I have decided to ignore this and prop up a MediaWiki install for our nefarious purposes.

The homepage is pretty bare, but I have started filling in the Sencha page under Green Tea as an example. I would like to provide a page or so of objective coverage on each major tea, followed by discussion on brewing, vendors, and links to blog reviews of the folks here.
Right now anonymous editing is wide open, but I would like to eventually restrict it to trusted editors like the folks here.
Last I heard he wasn't actively doing anything with it.
I have spent less than an hour on this, but I would obviously like to see it take off. A more permanent, better formatted, better searchable compilation of our wealth of tea knowledge? Feel free to bikeshed/ignore instead, I won't feel that bad.

Fair enough, space.
When it comes to such matters, something can be a great idea without magically compelling everyone to personally invest.
I just believe we can manage a critical mass on this project and/or merge with another one that turns out to be so similar in scope that redundancy would be a bad idea.

I don't know for what this is worth, but there is an enormous document that is essentially someone's "Introduction to Tea" book that I printed out and read when I first got interested in tea. Some of it may be subject to disagreement, but it seems it might be worth getting permission to take chunks of it into the TeaWiki or at least reference the thing. Maybe it is not really of any use, but I'll reference it here just in case.
