I can't seem to justify 15 $ / 1oz from ito-en gyokuro to my SO.....
she thinks I paid 15 $ for 1 lb of gyokuro...
how do you guys do it?
That's a good question. My SO is becoming, shall we say, "curious" about the amount of tea I am buying, the # of adagio tins I have stacked up in the "tea cabinet", and what it all costs.inspectoring wrote:I think this is going to be the most creative post of all time....

Yeah, pretty much. Sencha is the mainstay tea. And then you can also consider the Kukicha/bancha/etc route for even cheaper tea.Time4Tea wrote: That all being said.... isn't gyokuro traditionally used in Japan for special occassions only, and not as an every day tea...?
