I hate, I *freak* hate, Republic of tea.
I got my tea tray today. It started leaking within five minutes. I
knew I shouldn't send them my money.
I am just sick of their "Leading Purveyor of Tea" crap, when the products they sell are just, well,
crap.

On the plus side, that's a very nice photo.

Yikes, when you die, leave me the good stuff, not this piece of crappola. Their acronym fits so aptly sometimes... RoT.
Nice action photo.

I can practically hear the water gushing.

Sorry about the tray, Alex. Would some silicone seal it?

Mine leaks like that too, but only if I turn it over.

That was a no-go. I'll pick up some silicon this weekend. I'd rather do that than pay to ship it back to the bastards for a return.

yeah, I have learned a valuable lesson when it comes to trays. My first tray didn't have a drainage where the water runs off as soon as you pour it in through a tube. Needless to say, it leaked just like yours. So, I thought that I would get wise and buy one made of zisha. However, this arraingment didn't work either as I kept chiping my cups and such! I finally found one from YS that I have been using with a drainage tube and very well made. I can swear since I have had it I must of poured at least 300 gallons thru it in a matter of a month.. Well, you guys have seen the pics!

I still have my primary table, which is very nice. It doesn't have a drainage tube, but I've had it for over a year now, and it still in excellent condition. The problem was that it is a little large to share my desk with my laptop, I wanted something small.
I took a closer look at it, its just crappy construction. For 20 dollars, I expecte cheap, but I also expected functional. What can you do? The silicon should do the trick. It's a perfect size, so I'd like make it work if I can.
I don't buy from RoT often, but I swear everytime I do, there's a problem.

I would be more prone to try waterproof wood glue (gorilla glue) than silicone.
