A Question about Zarafina

I just bought a zarafina machine from ebay and have a couple of questions, thanks in advance for the reply.
1. Is the infuser basket clear or does it have a translucent pattern on it? My infuser basket has a funny pattern inside it, at first I thought it was something stuck to it but I have cleaned it a lot and now I am thinking its some sort of pattern.

2. Does the top of the steeping chamber have like a bubble design on it or is it meant to be clear? I have line a 1.5-2 inch of a bubble pattern on it, the best I can describe it is that looks like a boiling pattern...

I guess if this is not normal I will have to get a new infuser basket and a steeping chamber, but given that it cost me $15.00 for the machine that would be ok.

If you could post a picture, that would be the most helpful, but my Zarafina doesn't look like what you are describing.

$15 is indeed a steal.
