Birthday wishlist

by RussianSoul » Apr 1st, '08, 14:26

It is finally April, and even if it was still snowing this morning, it is my birthday month.

My family is asking for my wishlist, and I am happy to provide it. Of course, I want teaware! What else? I will ask my husband to get me a kyusu, and my daughter for cups.

What I need is some help deciding which kyusu and which cups.

Please, choose which do you like better:

Mogake by Hokujo

or Yohen by Soukou

And then which cups:
Yunomi "Tokoname-yaki"

or MATSUBA Yunomi

Come and play, let's have some tea fun.

Yohen and Mutsuba...then we will have tea...I will bring the sencha, you supply the teaware! I would drink out of the Yaki as well... :D

I have been checking out the Yohen for a while.

They are all lovely, but I'd have to say Mogake (though I could go either way on this one) and Matsuba.

Though really, any way and you totally win! :D

Cool combinations! Thank you!

Personally I thought Yohen and Yaki when I posted, but now I can see that Yohen and Matsuba make an awesome set.

I'd have to say Yohen and Matsuba, solely based on aesthetics
Life is like a cup of tea, savor it slowly or it will be gone too fast

I'm another Yohen/Matsuba vote. All the pieces are lovely, though.

The yohen/matsuba is a good combination, but I love Hokujo's work, and could not live without my mogake kyusu.
