Gorgeous!!!
But, since I can only take one home....its gonna be the tea!
I LOVE your expression in the second pic - it amuses me greatly, though I can't put my finger on why....
Also.....can we get a shot of the pretty logo on the side?

That's the Darjeeling Tea Board logo, created in 1983 as a certification that could only be put on true Darjeeling products. It was done to help limit the amount of counterfeit Darjeeling on the market, which is a huge problem. How well it really works is arguable, but it's still a nice idea.
[Edit: Oops... that's not what you meant. Sorry! I thought you meant the other logo.

Great pictures. How is this crop? I really liked the last one I had (it may have been '06).

Naturally, I placed an order with Adagio earlier today, just before I saw all the nice pictures of the new tea. At least I had a chance to cancel the order so I could add a sample tin of this to everything else I wanted before things were shipped out. I'm looking forward to trying it!

Thanks, Ilya, for sharing the pix. How much tea is in one of those crates?
I can hardly wait for the summer harvest, now!

It really is great to see whats going on and get up to date information about stuff like this. I'll be ordering some of this when I get the chance. Looks much more like a green darj than a black one though
