OK, the jig is up, Mary and I will be joining tea Adagio at the World Tea Expo in Vegas this weekend. We are registered under TeaChat. It will be an experience that will hopefully enrich us both. We are very appreciative of the opportunity to go...and the generosity of adagio to send us.
This will also be a first, Mod Squad meets adagio face to face!!! Hopefully this will signal stronger future communication between us all and an even better forum that I already consider to be the best all around English language Tea Forum.
Now...TeaDay...once again, welcome to TeaDay one and all...come and share with everyone what is in your cup today...all day! Be certain to check out what everyone else is sipping as well. If you need to, you can also reflect back on your TeaDay.
Today's TeaPoll is the epitome of frivilosity! You can also discuss your thoughts on what your humble mods should check out at the expo! Here is a link. WORLD TEA EXPO Discuss anything Expo related...
OK...I am looking forward to seeing you on TeaDay. Bottoms up, refill, repeat often...

Morning All!
My first Tokoname Kyusu arrived today from O-cha (I got the little KI115... http://www.o-cha.com/green-tea/tokoname ... -k115.html)
I am already flabbergasted at how much easier it is to brew in this pot! Also in the box was a packet of the Shincha Uji Kirameki which I'm going to open once I've made my way through the rest of this Yutaka Midori. Have also got some Iced Gyokuro on the go!
I've got an finals exam tomorrow you see so some serious tea is needed for relaxation purposes!
Have a great day everyone, enjoy the exhibition Chip!

10:18 in the morning and I've already been drinking one cup of TKY and one cup of "Russian tea", whatever that is. Now I guess I'll move on to the Golden Yunnan. And I should empty my Lapsang tin... nothing's more ridiculus than almost empty tea tins!
Anyone here's got something bad/good to say about Tao of Tea? I'm thinking about sending them an order. Especially experience of them sending orders internationally would be appreciated.
I'm not sure I got todays poll, but I voted for Aged Spam Pu. I SO long for pu

A podcast from the World Tea Expo?
After years of not getting around to it, I finally tried glass brewing some Chinese green. It is fun, easy, and delicious. Thanks to Andy and Wesli for the encouragement and advice. Thanks to Bodum Pavina for providing the perfect vessel. Meng Ding Gan Lu looks and tastes great this way!

Next step in my personal development program: Cold brewing Sencha … or Gyokuro.

I think it was an inside joke only meant for a handfull of folks. I voted for "Spam Porn" or teaware (I hope anyway). If we're lucky we will see some pictures!Beidao wrote: I'm not sure I got todays poll, but I voted for Aged Spam Pu. I SO long for pu
Salsero good luck with the ice brewing. I just haven't gotten into ice brewing or matcha. Great photo as always.
It's 6:20 and I am finishing my coffee, trying to decide what to brew for iced today!
I think you should look for the Orange Blossom Oolong Spam. I heard it was sold by an Ethopian prince who just needs a little cash to get to his inheritance. I believe he promises to share it with you if you can give him enough.
On the other hand, I have read tales of the magical enhancing properties of the Aged Pu-Erh Spam....
Tough choice you got there.
Again with the Assam Melody this morning for me.
