Today I will be flying to Vegas as you know for the World Tea Expo...what I great opportunity..again, many thanx to adagio! Mary and I will "be away" but will be checking in to TeaChat as time allows.
While in Vegas, Victoria will crank out TeaDays, a nice break for me. I am sure she will offer a nice change, a breath of fresh oolong air to TeaDay! Please be sure to offer her your support and appreciation by posting lots of times through Monday.
Welcome everyone to TeaDay! Wooohooo it is Friday...let's brew massive quantities...and of course share what is in your cup today...all day! Check out what others are sipping as well...half the fun right there! If you need to, you can reflect back on your TeaDay.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. A day or two early, but what has been your favorite tea for the month of May? Please share specifics.
I look forward to seeing everyone of TeaDay. Bottoms up...refill...repeat.

Best wishes go with our intrepid Mods as they fly off today to join the rich and famous in Las Vegas. Good luck to them, the Adagio team, and BearsBearsBears.
More shu puerh today, this time the 2006 Changtai Banna Tuocha from the Taste of Mellowness thread.

This tea is going to look a lot prettier in the new yunomi I have ordered!

For this month, white. Normally I drink black tea, but this month I decided to try some whites and was pleasantly rewarded with some of the best tea tasting experiences of all time.
Too bad silver needle can be a bit expensive.
Then again, so is yunnan gold and I drink that near every day.
In my cup: What? No tea? I'll update this later, after 8-10 hours of sleep.

I must say my favorite tea in May have been green, there is nothing like a cup of good Japanese green tea when the summer is coming and the smell new cut grass comes through the window. Uji Kirameki has been the favorite to be more specific, a fantastic tea.
Today I`m drinking something new, my first tea from Nepal. An oolong tea, 20% fermented, Jun Chiyabari Himalayan Jade. Very complex aroma, initially pretty floral, then some wooden and fruity notes, there is something more there, but I can`t pin point it. Very good tea.

Happy EXPO DAY to our Mods and to Adagio!
We are so excited for you!
In my cup this morning Spring Darjeeling - lovely!
Happy Friday Everyone!

May has been a surprisingly green month for me.
Tea on the run today, genmaicha. I suspect there will be no more tea for me until tomorrow.
