Help talk me out of it...

by henley » May 30th, '08, 14:39

I've been eyeballing this set for days. It's a Japanese made vintage gold moriage pearl luster teaset. I don't need anymore teaware but I may have to buy one cup & saucer just to own a piece of it!

It's not a Japanese tea set. it's a Western tea set, made in Japan. There! Reason not to buy it!

I can see how it's a difficult set to turn down D: I'm not necessarily into Western tea stuff, but still. Nice set.

It would be a travesty to stop at one cup and saucer, don't even think of that. Get the whole set.

Imagine how much tea you can buy for the same price!

Well, it is definitively not the kind of teaware I like, but if you really really really like it and don't have to sell one of your kidneys for it, I am afraid there is no way to talk you out of it I guess.
A possibility is to calculate how many hours you have to work to buy it.
Just by curiosity, how much is it?

I'm a SAHM so I can't use that.

I thought of that as I was typing the original message. Almost titled the post "From one junkie to another..."

There's a 3rd cup & saucer available. I'll send it to you since you like it so much!

I'm in price negotiations w/the seller. My bday is next month so this may be my present. Thanx for the input, everybody!
