And a good First Impression for TeaChat as well as ADAGIO.

It is one click away people, we will all adjust, the most important thing is protecting the reputation and first impression of our host and of the forum itself.

Feedback: I liked the little TeaChat and miss it.El Padre wrote:While that's all true, this is the Feedback zone.
Edited to add: A kind teachat member explained to me what happened and the reasoning behind moving the IM box. While I did like the little box and still do, I support the decision to have it on a different page.

Doesn't even have to be a question of bad apples. The Live Chat feature apparently made it appear that I was spending hours at a time on TeaChat while I was at work.
Now that it's behind that button, if I only briefly browse the forum, the CTO doesn't get the impression that I spend half my day chatting. So I'm more free to occasionally visit the forum at work now.

There are pros and cons to the IM window on the pages of the forum. Forum administrators often have to weigh the pros and cons of forum functions and features.
Padre also has a point, when the window is on the forum, it can appear that one is either chatting or surfing the internet all day, could save some trouble for some TeaChatters at work. With only TeaChat and no IM open, some of this is minimized.
I simply open a seperate tab for IM. This will allow the screen to go beyond the normal 2 hours of IMs. As long as the window is open and not refreshed, I can have a whole day's worth of IMs.
For TeaChat, it is common for me to have several tabs open. One for the general forum, one for TeaDay, one for IM, one or more for hot topics I am watching, and one for admin function (moderator functions).
