Too early (or late) for a cold night ...

Well, only if I've missed a friend who lives in the Southern Hemisphere.

Any way, There's plenty of time to experiment with this

Fireside Tea:

1 oz dark rum
5 oz hot black tea
1 lemon wedge
1 cinnamon stick
1 tsp sugar

Pour tea into a heat-proof goblet, and sweeten to taste. Add rum, wedge-shaped slice of lemon, and a cinnamon stick. Serve.

So ... what teas, etc. ... And no, I'm not really taking this seriously. But I'm sure a bit of this in the evenings can help us wake up and have some strangely 'intense' conversations?

Oh, and I'm quite bored.

For one brief moment I thought I read 1 oz tea and 5 oz rum. And I was like, whoa.

Sounds a like a hot whiskey, but with rum and cinnamon instead of whiskey and cloves. And since that is pure delicious, I'm sure this one is too.

You're hurting my brain.

A few drops of well brewed long jing , instead of water, in a good malt whiskey I can cope with but this is too much for me to handle.

I'm fragile.

Have some compassion.

Sounds like a fireside treat. Nice for star gazing perhaps. It reminds me of a gluhwine recipe my former employer would make during the holidays using a spiced tea we carried and a nice red wine. :)
