Almost 2 am here, and I'm not finding it easy to fall asleep tonight. I doubt it's the caffeine, as I haven't consumed more than usual. Oh well... the dog isn't having a problem.
I voted for oolong. I've tried a ton of new tea this month, and several oolongs have been amongst my favorites. I've particularly enjoyed iced jasmine oolong and the new discovery of Revolution's Dragon Eye Oolong. The TKY and pouchong from adagio were nice too. Now I am eagerly anticipating the oolong pass box. A few months ago, I had never paid much attention to oolongs, and now I'm wondering if they will end up being my daily mainstay.
The greens are working well too, since I discovered cold brewing. In my cup/glass now... cold-brewed Green Pekoe from adagio... its been in my fridge all weekend, leaf and all... waiting for me to get home. And its still not bitter.
Off to bed sooooon...

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Da Yu Ling Ridge
From Pear Mountain’s very high ridge called Da Yu Ling, 大禹岭, comes this intensely yellow Formosa oolong. The Tanzanian ebony lady may be a little out of place on this high ridge, but she’s the one bringing the water!

BTW, Pear Mountain = Li Shan.

Yum. Da Yu Ling

My particular favorite tea of June is Zhu Ye Qing, with that swift-shaped appearance and pleasant freshness of June.
Finally slept for a little while... dog woke me.
Drinking Assam Gold Rain from Teavana... has a good taste, lots of golden tips, very pretty in my glass pot. Nice with a splash of almond milk... slowly waking me up.

Easily June was an oolong month! Tried several new ones & found a favorite in Pouchong.
After a busy weekend, decided to treat myself to a pretty bfast. Had oolong #40 this morning. The wildflowers came out of my back yard. Planted the seeds w/my dtr during Spring Break. I see this becoming an annual tradition.
