by scruffmcgruff » Jul 7th, '08, 12:41

If you are looking for a tea table, you absolutely must take a look at this article by TeaChatter bi lew chun, which includes prices and photos of 32 different tea tables from across the internet. Even you veterans may find some you hadn't seen before, I know I did.

Wow, ask and you will receive. I just commented on his blog about how lovely his table was, and we get a full spread of the internet's top tables.
Rock on, Lew.

Great resource. Thank goodness for blogs that share information, not opinion!!

I have #18 and absolutely love it, it’s solidly constructed and has stood up to a couple of years of heavy/daily use with no problems. I needed a narrow one for my desk, which is what originally let me to that particular one.

i used to use a table but i find the simplicity of using a simple dish to catch the water overflow very soothing to the whole process of making gong fu tea. the excess water in the dish, i just pour into a vase. kinda like stephane's set up on his blog.

My first tray - the one I have now is the RoT one, but I have been really looking around lately. I am near a sink so I don't pour water in the RoT tray because it Leaks! But it's ok for drips and general preparation. But I got the new tray fever ...

as a recent accepted user i added my table. It slopes at an angle towards the right, collecting waste water in reservoir and emptying through a tube.

cheers

I do hope people find the article useful. I'd like to say I enjoyed putting it together, but after comparison chart two I think I was ready to check myself into a clinic. The only thing that stopped me was the thought of being without my tea.

Very nice!

I've got the table from Rishi and I'm totally happy with it. I wonder if it's made by the same people as the table that Hou De sells. The rishi table looks exactly like the largest table in the Hou De picture. I mean exactly. The only difference, and it's a big one, is the price.

That's how I was, forever looking. There are just so many to look at.
