It takes a while. It's maddening, I agree! The best thing to do is forget about your order, then be pleasantly surprised when it arrives.

Good question. I haven't heard of any price affects due to the rise in petro. Have you heard anything substantial? Well, I have noticed that the price of pu-erh has slowly declined in the last two years. I can only assume that perhaps speculators are starting to dump their stock. I HOPE AND PRAY this is what is happening. But if any increases do arise it may be due to the declining dollar in the U.S. more than anything. But you are Canadian so it maybe a totally different situation for you anyhow. I don't know enough of about China's ag tea biz to make a real informed answer i.e does the chinese govt subsides any of their petro etc. But i you hear anything keep us posted.heavydoom wrote:this question concerns all tea sellers out of china.

Re: Dragon Tea House
Don't worry, I had an order shipped "Air" on the 29th of June and it arrived last wednesday the 23rd of July. I've read elsewhere that there is currently a lot of delays shipping in China because of the huge amount of things being shipped in for the Olympics. However I do wish Dragon Tea House would offer EMS as a shipping option, I've found EMS's service to rival time taken for domestic usps priority mail.devites wrote:How long does the shipping take? Yes, way to early to worry. Gordon is a quality dealer too, so if the package were to get lost forever, I have no doubt that he would send a replacement.devites wrote: How long does the shipping take? It has been 3 weeks
"Plummeting" dollar might be more accurate. All foreign goods -- and that means pretty much everything since we manufacture next to nothing domestically -- will likely go up.hop_goblin wrote: But if any increases do arise it may be due to the declining dollar in the U.S. more than anything.
Wow! Even from China?Zodduska wrote: I've found EMS's service to rival time taken for domestic usps priority mail.

Well Taiwan and Japan have all been 3-4 days average as long as it doesn't get held up in customs.Salsero wrote:Wow! Even from China?Zodduska wrote: I've found EMS's service to rival time taken for domestic usps priority mail.
