I have a lovely little 2-cup duchess bone china teapot, it was a gift from my mother-in-law. Unfortunately it has a little fleabite on the outside of the mouth. It's not very noticeable, but in keeping with my OCD nature, it's makes me feel bad to see it.
Is there any way to repair porcelain so that this chip will (mostly) disappear? I wouldn't do it myself, but I wonder if it's worth taking to a professional?

I would try consulting a specialist in restoring china. Any antique shop that deals in porcelain and china should be able to point you to someone.
Failing that, you could try this:
