Welcome one and all to TeaDay, Friday style. Perhaps we should declare it a TeaRoom day since it is Friday. Well, let's brew and share what is in our cups today, all day!
Today's TeaPoll was suggested many TeaDays ago by Augie. I can see her scratching her head trying to remember this. How much coffee in relation to tea do you consume currently? Has this changed drastically over the last year?

I tend to only drink coffee when I'm out, but saying that I do have a box of coffee filters in the house which I occasionally have, usually when we do an English cooked breakfast. What I drink depends what mood I am in, sometimes fancy something milky and have a Cap or Latte, and sometimes I just fancy a good tall brew. I will also often have an espresso to follow a meal in a restaurant. No tea as of yet but will have some Yunnan Gold after I've washed up! Jack

I have made my own coffee 3 times this year. I've probably had about 10 cups total. This has been a total turn-around for me. When I gave up alcoholic drinks, I turned from wine and rum tasting to coffee and tea and both became a huge part of my life.
My favorite coffee is pretty much anything with Colombian beans...

I drink one cup of French Roast every morning with cream and sugar - I'm used to it and it "officially" wakes me up. I've been bored with it for quite a while; I'm not dedicated to giving it up - but its pretty utilitarian. I've looked for tea that would be
a substitute - but can't seem to find one to stick with. Moroccan Mint, Darjeeling are possibilities. Something strong with taste and caffeine.
When I'm with friends we have tea. Tea just seems/is more social , coffee sends the messege "gotta go, lets get to work." (In other words, "I'm busy, what am I doing sitting here with you?")
The ambiance is all different.

Oh, no, it's 6:10 a.m. and no Salsero. Hope you're OK pictureman.
I have two cups of coffee every morning to wake up and then I switch to tea. Currently, we are working on Illy Expresso Roast. I usually buy coffee from a local Costco where they roast their beans on site. IN Marsh stores also roast their own coffee in some stores. I will never give up coffee, no need to. I also drink other beverage in addition to tea.

Actually Coffe is what got me into tea.
I was kind of addicted to coffee but changed to tea because so big amounts of coffee was bad for my health.
I still like coffee and will brew a nice big pot a couple of times a month.
Beans from Java are my favorite. I don't make them myself, but i buy whole beans and grind them myself.

ok...don't hate me. but i'm well in to my coffee.
get it delivered freshly roasted the day before from a highly regarded coffee roaster in the UK... Has Bean Coffee
only stocks speciality coffee...single origin, cup of excellence winning coffees etc.
a favourite of mine is 'Brazil Cachoeira Canario Dried on Screen 07-08 crop' or a good yemen comes to mind.
also currently really enjoying current crop of 'Honduras La Fortuna Cup of Excellence' - very yummy!
depending on my mood and time of day and what type of beans i have in, i use either my espresso machine, cona vac pot, aeropress or french press to make my coffee.
i tend to find the people who don't like coffee...haven't actually tried proper coffee. even pre-ground so called 'fresh' coffee isn't what i'd call 'proper coffee'. freshly roasted beans and a quality grinder are essential.
i could go on....but who wants that aye
