October tea tasting

by Proinsias » Aug 27th, '08, 20:18

I had mentioned that I may provide long jing for the tea tasting in October.

The original plan was two decent long jing teas. That idea has been scrapped.

I've always wanted to try liu an and never got around to it so october is going to consist of a chunk of liu an, hopefully rather cheaper than expected due to recouped shipping costs, and a little long jing.

Due to my stock of the long jing it will have to be limited to 15 places so first come, first served.

I realise this thread is a little early but please take into account that I am very lazy and trying to ensure something arrives during the month of october with the cheapest overseas shipping possible.

So, who's game for telling me liu an is foul?

I've never tried it, so I'm game.

BTW, I couldn't even place it, so I did a quick google...and promptly found the wikiCHA article! Well done, lads!

He's saying he has enough tea, so you should give his share to Alex.

At 14yrs old the liu an is still a bracing experience, not for the faint of heart.

The long jing is, however, very soothing.

Anyone else?
