Welcome everyone to TeaDay. Today was declared a White TeaDay yesterday by newbie murrius. So, be prepared to brew, and hopefully share a cup of WHITE with everyone today, all day. Remember to share what is in your cup.
Yesterday, voting on how much TeaChatters are going to spend on TEA in 2008 was across a wide spectrum from less than 100 to over $1000. You can still vote and discuss this topic.
Since today was declared a WHITE TeaDay by murrius, we will do it TeaRoom style today, nice and casually. So, what white tea will you share with us today? Don't have a white around, if you did, what would it be? Oh, you just don't want to have a white tea today, that's ok too.
I am looking forward to sharing White TeaDay with everyone today. Bottoms up ...

White after Labor Day???!!
Well ok - I already spilled the beans about this one, but my favorite white is White Peony. AKA: Bai Mu Dan
A little bolder and more full-bodied than most.

My favorite white tea is Rishi's Moonlit White, a bai mu dan from Yunnan. Wish I had some today. Will have to settle for Fujian.

Is it centered this time, Auggy?
GeekGirl, now aren’t you glad you already have it?
My most memorable white was
Doke Royal Snow Bud from Kashanganj.

Houjicha karigane with my lunch.
As I have just received some new tea this morning, I guess I won't have any white tea today.

None for me...haven't ever found a white tea that I liked, even the ones also flavored with peach, blueberry, etc.
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

I just received a 6oz bag of Adagio's White Peony a couple of day's ago, so I'll be having some of that later this afternoon.
In my cup some V93 Pu-erh.

I had one can of White - yummy Ku Gan Lu. Bitter then sweet (just like the name says!). Sadly - all gone!

No white for me today. I am now obsessed with. . . Matcha, had my first bowl last night, and love it, I will be whisking all day! I will try to get some pictures of the frothy mix in my new bowl for you guys.
