Welcome once again to TeaDay, my TeaFriends. I hope we can all share what is in our cups today, all day.
Yesterday's voting was a little surprising. Although Chinese tea was voted top favorite tea of the month, Japan was nipping at her heals. Taiwan and India were strong as well. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic. Do you own a Yixing pot? More than one, how many? Do you dedicate them to one type of tea? Don't have one, do you want one? Or why not?
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone today. Bottoms up ...

Why yes. I own five.
Currently drinking Oriental Beauty Oolong from Floating Leaves Tea. This has got to be one of the prettiest teas in my collection. I almost didn't want to brew it the leaves look so nice.
Pick of the twins. Click for full sized.

I'll leave the natural looking photographs to sal. I just gotta get all crazy with the blur.
The Duo tone overlay Variant. Click for full sized.

7 yixing and one cheapo clay thing that's being used to store some bamboo roasted sheng until it calms down a little.
A window was smashed on my bus this morning and the next bus was too full for us all to get on, nightmare. It's ended up in me having to return home for a few hours to an empty, quiet house and being forced to drink some assam whilst eating cheese on toast with a garnish of chives. I'll catch up on the lecture another time.
Heading off for bus to university attempt number 2.

Nice photo, Trioxin!
I have too many "Yixing" that I purchased when I started drinking tea. Unfortunately, I don't use them these days, prefering lighter teas. And when I do brew a darker oolong, I reach for a gaiwan.
Adagio Keemun Concerto started the day. Now Kabusecha from O-Cha. This is good Kabusecha.

One pot.
And I have a pair of IngenuiTEA style Yixing cups. They are no smaller than a pot, but since they are for single-person use only, I would call them cups anyway.
My Yixing pot is from many years ago. It was very inexpensive and durable. But its mouth drips a little bit. I like it and feel like it's an old friend. But I am also tempted to get a new beauty
