Hi,
Just wanted to say hello, and introduce myself. A couple of years ago I asked myself why I didn't like tea when so much of the worlds population enjoyed it.
The answer was simple. Lipton tea laced with sugar, lemon or honey was our moms answer to the common cold. Yuk! So I decided to visit a tea shop an hours drive away. The owners were nice enough to treat me to a chinese tea ceremony using an Oolong with the most incredible aroma and taste. What an awakening! I walked out with a bunch of tea and equiptment, and have been hooked ever since.
I discovered this group, and after reading alot of the posts realized it was my lucky day, and joined. I look foward to enjoying myself, and if I can ever be of help, just let me know.

Hello and welcome, Bill!
You may be interested to know that the Oolongian contingent on this forum used to be in the minority, but recently it has been flexing its muscles and growing alarmingly...
I am Oolong
Hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
Luckily, many of the Greens hereabouts are also partial to Oolong, so war hasn't broken out. Yet
Anyway, I hope you'll keep us up to date with what's in your cup!

Welcome Bill, you are going to love it here! How awesome to get treated to a tea ceremony, sadly the closest I've come is watching reruns of the Karate Kid
