Welcome TeaFriends to TeaDay. Please stop by and share what is in your cup through out the day!
Yesterday responders indicated that not having the right teaware was not going to prevent them from brewing/drinking the most superlative tea if they had it in their possession. You can still vote and discuss this topic.
Today's TeaPoll and discussion topic was contributed by Shelob who asked, "If you can't get to TeaDay at least once a day, do you miss the comraderie and just the general Teachat?" Please share.
I am looking forward to not missing TeaChat/TeaDay today, and sharing it with everyone. Bottoms up.

Yes, of course! Yes, I certainly do. Being off most of the afternoon and evening, I have a lot of posts to catch up on and I missed posting my afternoon teas!

FPAC... means I am up too late. (Edit... 2nd Post after Chip rather than 1st... Victoria sniped me while I was typing)
I look forward to TeaChat every day... and miss it when I can't be here. I like the people, their wisdom and humor, the subject matter (of course), and the opportunity to learn and share. And I love Sal's photos.
In my cup is a 2nd infusion of the home-roasted Six Summits Oolong from Teavana... much better roasted than unroasted... quite delicious! I also tried my hand at pan-toasting my own rice for some genmaicha; had already done this with barley for mugicha. Now I want to try rice and barley together for a nice flavorful decaff evening drink... will that be called mugigenmaicha?
Whatever I call it, maybe I can drink it and fall asleep at a reasonable hour. Work in the morning is gonna suck.
Nite nite all...

Poppets on parade for the TeaChatters ... thanks GeekGirl!
Who better to show the spirit of TeaDay than the Poppets and the Poppet Mistress! ...though I am a little worried the black and white daredevil may fall into the brew! Here's a cup of Buddha's hand for your efforts.

Pics please!!!!!Trioxin wrote:Eh,... I'm a loner at heart, so I can take it or leave it.

Great pics, Sal and GeekGirl! Love the poppets especially.
I do miss TeaChat when I can't get here regularly. I'm still relatively new, but I feel like I'm starting to make a couple of friends here. It's a nice feeling.
I just woke up, so I don't have any tea yet. I think I'm going to try brewing the Darjeeling #22 at a lower temp...
