Sibling Taste

by Vulture » Oct 28th, '08, 10:03

So I came to like loose leaf teas about 1-2 months ago. Recently at a family gathering I found out that my little sister has been drinking loose leaf from adagio's since January. I found it amusing and yet reinforcing the idea that tea was the right choice. Also just goes to show how taste is family related! We both ended up liking the cinnamon flavored tea. Though she hasn't been able to explore teas as much as me being on a student budget.

Thought it be an interesting story to share. Two siblings who don't see each other much anymore still end up liking the same thing.

Looks like birthday shopping just got a whole lot easier for you. 8)

My sis is on the edge of drinking tea. She will drink it when she is around me, even ask for it, but then she goes home to Michigan. I will convert her this Christmas.

My brother is curious and likes whatever I brew for him but hasn't taken the plunge on his own.

Maybe you should try wooing her with oolong. Not everyone joins the Green Team.
:)

No siblings here.

My sister really likes tea, but is a slave to coffee. I get her to drink tea once a week with me anyway...

No, she actually really likes the Japanese greens I have shared with her. Just not a commited tea drinker yet.

I have come to find siblings taste pretty good when using Dr. Lechter's cookbook.

You are all invited for dinner in honor of my sister's surprise visit.

lol I had my sister and little brother over the other day. I had them try some carmel rooibos. She only could stay for a cup but she liked it. I forgot to sweeten the tea for my little brother though and so I got a second cup of rooibos

Yah for a short time I allowed him to broadcast on video chat. He just got out of karate so was in uniform and playing with the video effects.

I have no true siblings but 4 step brothers...........I am an avid cook and I have one stepbrother who was always willing to try whatever concoction I created when the others werent (They were good things like Ahi Tuna cooked med. rare over various types of sugar cured seaweeds topped with a soy sauce granita)....anyway, I digress. Once I got into tea he was very willing to try my brews and liked many of them but he is a somewhat lazy individual and I have only been able to get him to consistently drink bagged tea..........I suppose that is better than nothing though...
