Fave flavor profiles

What are some of the adjectives you would use to describe your favorite tea?

Mine are: smoky, thick, and honey-ish

hmm.. not sure what the proper term for that last word is.

sweet?

I personally like teas that are a little sweet, earthy, with a full mouth feel and a bit of randomeness? Basicly each time you brew, the tea will change flavors even slightly to make every cup different.

I usually like to use the word Earthy a lot. I use and hear other people use the following for a nice list of word choices!

Earthy
Sweet
Vegital
Buttery
Bitter (some people like a little bitterness in their tea)
Flowery
Fruity
Warming
Refreshing
Smokey
Dark (as in brewing it for longer)
Light (as in the reverse of the last one)
Full Mouth Feel

Sweet and grassy.

I hate any honeyish flavor. Bleah.

I assumed so.

If we're talking about non-tea stuff to blend in, I like lemongrass but not lemon, spearmint, some peppermint, and I would like to stick a knife in anyone who poisons a good tea with any kind of honey.

Mmm. Sweet, vegetal, green, floral... Sometimes muscatel and honey depending on other flavors and how strong.

I dislike smoky the most.

My least favorite would definitely be buttery. Vegetal is second. Eurrrgh! It's like drinking spinach with popcorn butter drizzled on top.

I don't think either of us has to worry about the other raiding our tea pantry! Though maybe when I run across the too smoky teas, I can find a good home for them with you!
