Well, if you can believe the photo (which is dated July 2007) you know that it's *at least* a year old.

That thing on the lid does look a little prehistoric. What is that, a cicada or something? I'm pretty sure those things didn't come around until posthistory, though.

The funniest part is you can see a mold line down the side of the pot.. which means its a mass produced pot not even hand crafted.... thats pretty bad. (reason its so cheap)

The butt crack down the back of the pot is the primary indicator that it is an authentic"prehistoric" yixing tea pot. The butt crack feature is a hoty debated feature of Prehistoric yixing. However, I am slightly mystified by the return policy being "unspecified".... What can this mean?

It simply means, cavemen take the money and run! Besides they are too busy doing Geico commercials to deal returns or exchanges.

Our distinguished members are obviously ignorant of true prehistoric extinct Wing Ding clay fired in cockroach kilns. Rare museum pieces from this prehistoric era are always signed with an emblem depicting the artist on the center of the lid.

new teapot + dust = old teapot

You'd think if was as nice and old as indicated he'd at the very least swiffer it.
