Think Geek just came out with an awesome travel item.

Some might see travel shot glasses, but I see travel tea cups.

And...

What the hell; I see travel chawans too.


I want to buy...but my wallet is about to croak :(
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

I noticed REI sells the same thing. Haven't seen the small shots before, but the bigger kind I've seen in the stores since last summer. Haven't really tried one yet as I found some folding cups that suited my purposes better. :p

Teaguru. I think these would work fine for normal drinks but not HOT drinks.

Your going to burn a hand with those!

It says in the description that they're made out of food-grade silicon, which stifles heat amazingly well. I have a number of kitchen items made from the same stuff, and they're amazing! They don't melt, they can take greats amount of heat, and they don't really get that hot. I can't see these cups being uncomfortable to handle.

Someone has GOT to order one of these and check it out. They look very tempting.

This concept reminds me a bit of a Japanese-style teabowl I saw on eBay 2 or 3 years ago. It looked exactly like a red raku chawan (aka-raku chawan), but was made of hard moulded plastic! At the time I considered buying it for a lark, but never actually got round to it - and someone else duly snapped it up. I've been kicking myself ever since!
