Hi there! And welcome!

I'm a new tea drinker as well, and I also have the ultiliTea and IngenuiTea. In fact, I use them both at once most times since I drink most of my tea at the office.

For white teas (I drink White Peach, Cucumber, and Grapefruit), I put the utiliTea to the green setting. While I'm waiting for the water to heat, I put about one teaspoon of white tea (maybe a bit more, it depends on your personal taste) into the IngenuiTea. When the utiliTea automatically turns off, I slowly pour the water into the IngenuiTea and close it. I usually let it steep for 3-5 minutes, depending on how strong I want the tea. For you, since you're new, I'd start with 5 minutes and work my way down. I think the 7 minutes is a bit too long, but once you get used to the white tea, you'll figure out what length of time works best for you.

I hope that helps you!
I believe drinking tea makes me a better artist. But hey, I also believe I'm completely sane.

For Adagio's flavored white teas, I get the best brews from using lots of leaf, like 3 or 4 teaspoons to 16oz, which I think it is the size of the IngenuiTea. I use about 180*F or slightly hotter, but definitely not boiling. My zoji has a temperature setting of 195* which works perfectly if I dispense it directly into a cold pot. The green tea temperature on the UtiliTea should be fine.

I have gone the full 7 minutes on both the white peach and white blueberry with good results, though depending on how much leaf you use, 5 minutes might be sufficient. The white blueberry is delicious, but very subtle. Sometimes I find that a pinch of sugar or honey brings out the blueberry flavor very well.
