Which black tea to try next?

I'm no expert, but Irish Breakfast and Ceylon Sonata are two of my favorite types of tea.

Some other good blacks along those lines are Nilgiri (Nilgiri Glendale Handmade from TeaSource is a TeaChat favorite!) and Assam. They are bold and smooth without being astringent. If you like a little astringency to your teas, then you might try some Darjeelings.

Some of the other blacks sold by Adagio that are excellent are Assam Melody, Golden Monkey, Golden Spring, Fujian Baroque and Mambo. I have samples of Keemun Rhapsody and Yunnan Noir, but I haven't tried them yet.

There are also lots of darker Oolongs out there to try, but I'll let Victoria sell you on those! (She is the Oolong Queen!)

Fujian Baroque, another newbie to Adagio. Really quite nice. I am not a fan on Yunnan blacks, but the new Yunnan Noir is up there on my list as well.

Well thank you for that, but I try not to push oolongs - but now that you brought it up,
maybe you could move towards oolongs with a nice Darjeeling oolong. It all depends on what you want to do. Sometimes it's just best to start with Adagio samplers, then once you find something you love, explore more in that direction.
