Welcome EVERYONE to TeaDay, from lands near and far! Please share what is in your cup today.
Yesterday, most responders seemed to feel there were a lot of TeaSales going on this holiday season. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's teaPoll and discussion topic. How will you deal with the notorious added holiday stress this year, drinking more tea, more alcohol, more of both, shop more, buy more tea? Share if you will be drinking more tea during this holiday season..
I am looking forward to sharing our TeaDay with EVERYONE! Bottoms up.

Moar tea of course! Pu, Japanese nectar, and the noble oolongs ... very calming and centering.

Yeah a bit of everything for me. Although for me drinking more (alcohol) isn't hard to do.
I use the holidays as a reason to splurge a bit on more stuff though.

I don't have holiday stress. I have enough of it at work than to worry about little things like gift buying and family get-togethers.
So, still no alcohol, probably the same amount of tea, and stay happy.
Citron green tonight at work.

I guess it depends on what holidays demand of you, but for me its pretty simple and stress free. I order a bunch of stuff online, do a last minute mall run, and enjoy the rest of winter break. Having more time for tea may also have a correlative effect I suppose . . .

When I get stressed around the holidays, I just drink more tea.

The holidays are less stressful for me, especially since it usually means more time off of work.
I'm enjoying some of Adagio's sencha premier this morning with breakfast. Mmm.

Since I don't really celebrate Christmas and I don't drink alcohol this poll is maybe not for me. But I sure hope I will drink more tea in the next few days.
In a few minutes: My own breakfast blend made of Assam Panitola and Ceylon Highgrown.

I reduce stress by starting shopping in Oct. I also exercise and take extra B vitamins during stressful times.
I had a chinese breakfast tea this am. Nice, but it really lends itself to sweetener to taste the best. I really don't care to do that very often.
Have a great day all!

Give me more tea!
Golden Spring this morning. It's still freakishly cold here, I wish I could have a tea IV to keep me warm!
Omega, how do you like the Citron Green? I was surprised to find that I like it very much.

What holiday stress? I have short moments of "Oh no!" when I remember we have bought exactly three gifts but then I push it out of my mind and am happy once again.
Ceylon patti-something (I've forgotten) this morning. DH thinks I'm crazy but the tea's smell and, to a lesser degree, taste make me think of raspberries.

I'll buy myself a little something and drink more tea. Assam Melody with breakfast today. Time to go outside and shovel.

Holidays tend to involve drinking lots of tea and alcohol. Being home from college means I have more time to drink lots of tea and enjoy wine with dinner, which for some reason, colleges frown upon. It's not just holiday stress though. I don't drink alcohol nearly as much at school as I do with my parents. Now that I've gotten my parents back into drinking tea after dinner, there is more tea consumed too.
Currently enjoying some chestnut tea. Not sure what I will be drinking during the rest of the afternoon.
