Which Yixing?
I've noticed that in shopping for Yixing teaware online, vendor descriptions will sometimes say things like "this pot is especially suitable for x tea." So, generalizing somewhat from the recent "which clay for dan cong" thread, does anyone know of a source that explains the rules for matching a tea with the appropriate clay/style of an yixing pot?

Besides the clay, don't forget that the size, weight, thickness, etc. are also important when matching an Yixing to a tea. I take these things into consideration before I do the clay.Ron Gilmour wrote:I've noticed that in shopping for Yixing teaware online, vendor descriptions will sometimes say things like "this pot is especially suitable for x tea."
