Just a quick note to introduce myself. My name is Lainie, and I have become a serious tea lover/drinker this past year. As I learn more about tea, and drink more tea, I become ever more curious about this wonderful drink!
My tastes vary and I find that I go in cycles in my preferences: One week I will be into greens, the next I will be into whites, then blacks, etc. I will say, however, that I have a consistent love of oolongs and pu'erh.
In any case, I am happy to be here, and look forward to getting to know everyone!

Welcome. Hope to see more of you around the forums ... sounds like you have a well diversified tea palate. What greens have you been most into? Chinese? Japanese? You'll find a truly dedicated bunch of Japanese fans here as well as a little more laid back group of Chinese green drinkers.

Hi, Lainie, welcome to the TeaChat!
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.
