Zojirushi Water Boiler/Heaters
The Zojis come in at least three capacities - 3, 4 and 5 liters. Do they all have the same specs and functionalities, other than capacity? I have surfed the web and it looks like there are older and newer models, but I can't tell what's what. I would appreciate any light anyone can shed on any differences.

One difference that is not listed on the chart is where they are manufactured.
CV-DSC40 is made in Japan.
CD-WB models are made in China.
CD-LCC models are made in Japan.
Zutto is made in China
Looks like they have a new electric kettle listed here

Thanks. I looked over the chart. There is not any detail on the difference between the VE-Hybrid with the "vacuum (non-electric)" and all the others. Anyone know more?olivierco wrote:http://zojirushi.com/ourproducts/how_an ... 0Chart.pdft4texas wrote:The Zojis come in at least three capacities - 3, 4 and 5 liters. If you look on page two of that chart it explains:t4texas wrote:Thanks. I looked over the chart. Vacuum Insulation or VE Hybrid:Turns off the heater and keeps water hot utilizing its vacuum insulation. Also called VE (vacuum-electric) technology.
