I started the day out today with a pot of Adagio Irish Breakfast Tea and I loved it. It had a nice robust flavor. I havent figured out the terms for the tastes yet like malty or smokey etc. I only know what tastes good to me so excuse my lack of descriptive terms.
This afternoon I made some Yunnan jig and that was a perfect mellow afternoon tea. I got four infusions out of it. (The last one I threw in a celestial seasonings Peppermint tea bag just for good measure and that was great too.
I am just about convinced that I am mainly a black tea drinker. In the last few days I tried a Pi Lo Chun green tea and the oolong #8 and I hated both of them. I do have the rest of the teas in my oolong and green tea sample kits to try but so far they are striking out. At the same time, I tried three of the blacks and loved all three so far.

Ah ha, another person for the dark side! The gorgeous malty flavor is a characteristic of Assam teas, which are one of the more obvious notes in Irish Breaktast - my favorite btw.
One good thing about Irish Breakfast tea is that it is hearty enough to hold up with additions of sugar, milk or flavorings but just as good with nothing at all.
Oddly enough, my husband and I are sharing a pot of Irish Breakfast Blend right now. There is nothing like tea.

This tea is pretty hard core. I got about three drinks out of one Twinings Irish breakfast bag. I like almost exclusively black teas like English breakfast, Irish breakfast, Earl Grey, etc. A lot of my friend tease me for being the only one who puts milk and sugar in her tea.
