Welcome everyone to TeaDay. Please share with all of us what is in your cup today.
Yesterday on TeaChat the vast majority of responders indicated they would spend less than $500 on teaware this year. I should ask in around 6 months and see how much the results have changed? You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaRoom poll and discussion topic. Do you start your day with the same type of tea, the same tea, or try to start each day with a different tea? Please share your "routine" or lack there of.
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone, bottoms up.

I used to always start the day with a black, perhaps a vestige of thinking I needed coffee in the morning ... later I discovered that I was equally happy with black, oolong, green, or puerh, so now I mix it up.

I tend to start the day with an Earl Grey tea. At the moment, that's the only black tea I'm drinking regularly, but that's largely because I'm out of Darjeeling at the moment. Occasionally I have an oolong or herbal tea to start the day, but most of the time I just enjoy the kickstart of having a nice strong black.

I usually start the day with a softer green. And that's usually only on the weekends. I find it difficult to drink tea in the mornings when I work- a bit too rushed to truly enjoy the cup. In the afternoons, whether at home or work, I'll have whatever strikes me at the moment- hojicha is my current fave or maybe some sencha, or a less floral oolong or a flavored black or ....
currently enjoying jade cloud/ green jade (I'm still learning about the naming of tea and the different kinds)

I've still got a huge selection of teas that I haven't even tried, so I'm trying to drink a different tea every day (with a large selection of samples on their way from netsurfr). Once I have "tried every tea once" then I'll probably ping around from tea to tea. Except for the matcha. I'll probably have a cup of that every day since it goes bad so quickly.
For today's selection, I'm trying out "Apple Lemon Pomegranate Rooibos," which I believe is a Teavana tea. I got it during a tea-swap from a friend on another messaging forum. It's very flavorful.

No rhyme or reason (within the boundaries of the choices in the poll anyway) here.
I just drink whatever toots my horn.
This morning I'm starting off with Adagio's Oolong 40.

No real rhyme or reason... I drink what speaks to me, or I drink what's left over from last night if I'm pressed for time, and then I make something fresh when I get to work.
This morning, I have the brief luxury of cuddling on the sofa with a blanket, the dog, and 2 cups of hot Nepal FF from Adagio... I am really loving this tea, it is very similar to a FF darjeeling. I've procrastinated nearly as long as I can... off to the hospital in a few.
Happy Tea Day all,
Sarah
