It is a bit interesting how going to a decent chinees/japanese restaurant can open a new world in something other than food. A local place serves oolong tea with their meals, and it amazed me that I could drink a tea that lacked a load of sweetener to make it drinkable. So I asked what it was. "vulong" is what I got out of the waitress when I asked, so I went searching. While I did find that vulong was really oolong, I found some other tea's I enjoy as well.
While I am still figuring out how to brew the tea in more than tiny amounts (which would be fine while sitting at home, at work I don't have a range of choices for how to make it) Maybe one day I'll manage to make oolong as good as the chinees place, I've still not quite mastered the secret.
Still, I refuse to give up and will keep at it.
As a side note, I've come to love rooibos almost as much.
Hi and welcome! You might try an infuser basket for brewing larger cups or mugs at work, they can be convenient.

The scale will show up around friday, but my lovely infuser cup won't get in till Monday...
But I have new teas to try out in the mean time. Three Toa of Tea varieties showed up today! I do like the design of their tins. And the labels are taped on (implying they were meant to come off and the tins reused...can do).
