Welcome one and all to our cyber TeaRoom. Please share what is in your cup (or gaiwan) today.
Please be sure to check out the new OFFICIAL TEACHAT GAIWAN CONTEST! PRIZES! under Teaware and Accessories.
Yesterday, a 3 way tie. Mostly general all around vendors, A mix of vendor types both general and specialized, Mostly specialized vendors!
You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today's TeaRoom poll and discussion topic. Trey asks, "Do you have a tea theme on your computer desktop?
(I.e. wallpaper, screen saver or similar)" What is it, even if it is not tea related? He further suggests that you post a screen shot if you feel so inclined.
Thanks for the suggestion, Trey!
I am looking forward to sharing TeaDay with everyone.

Re: Gyokuro
I would guess in your case it would be similar to picking which one is the favorite kid, huh?Salsero wrote:Mmmmm, no, a lizard. You may have identified an area that requires improvement, Chip.

Cute and funny and green. Good combination.olivierco wrote:My current wallpaper had been a picture from Pikmin2:
This is mine. Not tea-related as such, but it reminds me of tea, and just generally gives me good vibes. You can just about spot Chip's TeaCave:

Its springtime atmosphere is especially nice when this is the view out one's bedroom window, like today:

Having some White Symphony right now.

Oh, I don't know... I bet Pikmin make a wonderful tasting tea.olivierco wrote:My current wallpaper had been a picture from Pikmin2:

Nothing tea themed here. I currently have a stock photo of a small pier heading out toward the ocean at dusk.
I am currently working my way through a bunch of pu-erh samples from netsurfr and the B&B group buy. Today is a 2000 Fu Hai 7536 Green Mark sheng. I was a bit disappointed with yesterday's 1998 Lincang, but the first cup of this Fu Hai so far is kicking around some flavor in the deeper register that has me intrigued. I must press on. . ..!

I don't at the moment, I currently have a picture of my favorite daughter.

However, I have in the past used a few of Teanerd's wallpaper for my laptop as well as my iPhone.
Drinking a pot of Mangalam Full-Leaf Assam this morning with my oatmeal and watching Private Practice. I have to stop watching things that make me cry before work. Or just stop getting irrationally emotional over TV shows. >_<

My desktop, I promised the vendor who allowed me to use it,
that I would keep it for personal use only since he did not want it spread all over the internet,
and it is copyrighted. So, unfortuantely, I cannot share it.
It is of course Mt. Fuji with luscious, manicured tea fields in the foreground.
It is quite stunning.
In my cup, a tea grown within site of Mt Fuji, Den's Zuiko. Delicious.
SweeTea approved, but Pyrit, TEAh, and Wulong were completely disinterested.

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me. ~C.S. Lewis
