I just tried my sample of Adagio black Darjeeling #22 and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and aroma of this tea. I have beem drinking a lot of Assam and Yunnan teas and I needed a change. I am ordering samples of the other two black Adagio Darjeelings and I would like some suggestions of Darjeelings from other companies. I love the crisp sweet taste and floral aroma of this tea. It is a nice change from my favotite Assams.
Thanks,
Steve
I really love Adagio's Spring Darjeeling. I have tried many from from TeaSource, they are all good. My favorite is currently not listed. I will recommend this Nilgiri, that is a Board favorite:

I love Adagio's Darjeeling #1 and #2, Spring Darjeeling, and my favorite is Ooooh Darjeeling. My experience with other vendors has included great selections from Tea Emporium which specializes in Darjeelings (Risheehat Flowery, Castleton Moonlight, Pussimbing, Gopaldhara, JungPana, all were very good), and I know it's blasphemy but I have gotten some nice ones from Teavana (especially the one in the little wooden crate, I think it was Maharani Hills First Flush). I tend to prefer first flush greener tasting oolongs, but I heard the darker oolongs from Tea Emporium are also very good. They had some autumnal flushes I'd like to try... but I am holding out for spring harvest.

***This organic blend is earthy & spicy, with a fragrant aroma & smooth flavor to captivate the senses. Naturally sweetened in the Kentucky sunshine & infused with natural energy. Equally delicious when served piping hot or crisply chilled.***

Today I tried Arya Ruby's 2008 first flush tea, which is an organic tea and absolutely delicious. Got it from Ya-Ya Teahouse in New Zealand, so might not be the most practical place to order it from, but see if you can find somewhere based near you that stocks it. Warning: it's pricey. But seriously, it's the best Darjeeling I've ever had.
