I've already made up my mind on a Yixing for my blacks (http://www.sevencups.com/tea_shop/produ ... 285&page=1). I chose that for it's versatility.
Now I'm in the market for a kyusu. I'm primarily a green tea drinker (and would like the ability for some whites if I want). I stumbled upon this and it seems like it's more artistic than functional, but I was curious as to your thoughts:

I don't want to spend over $100 as I'm very prone to breaking things and need to spend my money elsewhere. If you've got opinions on that or could recommend another, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks.

A little further down, Chip gives a detailed explanation of why the pot you reference is better than another pot he got about the same time.

That was exactly what I was trying to link too.
I didn't realize you could post links to diffrent parts of the page.
But it's all about how sweet the pot is.
I say go for it.

Heh, yeah, follow the link by Victoria. I think it is safe to say I love this kyusu in every regard. It is my go to kyusu.
I have been reading up on this craftsman, Kenji.
Edit ... yeah, one other thing, Sal. the momiji kyusu does not drain completely, let me rephrase that, it is impossible to drain completely no matter what I do. I not only find annoying, but inexcusable for a craftsman quality pot of this price.
Of course, the Kenji kyusu drains completely.

Yeah....Artistic Nippon and Toru, the owner, are all great.....he is my go-to guy for any type of Japanese Teaware.....I have always been more than 100% satisfied.....I also think right now he is doing a "spend 100$, get free shipping"....which is a pretty good deal since EMS ranges anywhere from 22-30 bucks.....

I looked on there just a minute ago and I did not see it anymore...it was on the bottom of the page last weekend....I suppose he stopped doing it? I know when I was about to buy my Chawan I saw it but I didnt get my order up high enough for it to matter...I hadnt seen it in the days previous, so I only saw it on that one day....you could always send him an e-mail...although I dont mind paying the huge shipping fees it is quite worth it to get such great products and to get them so fast as well.
