It's a tea cup for Goliath, apparently.
Maybe it's supposed to be like those (novelty?) coffee mugs that are really huge?
Call it the "big gulp," maybe?

It's a bit awkward sized -- not really big enough to be a tea bowl... and the shape is a little strange.
Seems more like a big yunomi than anything else.

Yeah, I am not sure that I ever want to drink that much tea at one time. It does work very well as a cereal bowl, though!

And then there's the
meoto yunomi, the
ma and pa or
his and hers sets: a large yunomi for the husband, a small one for the wife. My first thought about your bowl is that maybe it could be a matcha bowl, but it doesn't really have the open, chawan shape, though the foot looks OK.
In any event, I'd say you better start drinking some tea out of it pretty darn soon for purposes of marital conciliation!
