I picked up some sencha at Uwajimaya the other day on a whim and it's pretty good for the price I think (I'm not a high end sencha drinker). There was this URL on the package, anyone ever order from them?

I picked up 100 grams of their seiryuu sencha from Uwajimaya yesterday and am not too impressed so far (especially as it is one of their best teas-- "saikoukyuu"-- according to their web site at http://www.minamien.jp/saikoukyu/index.html).
I've now brewed it three times, twice with a little mesh strainer in a cup and once with my kyuusu. All three times, the first infusion has yielded a weak, yellowish-green liquor that's slightly vegetal (almost reminds me of the flavor of melon rind) and not much else. Character doesn't seem to change much with the second and third infusions.
I have a fair amount of the stuff left so I will play around with different brewing times, amount of tea, etc., but so far it seems forgettable to me. Has anyone else tried this yet?
