Hey guys! I just went ahead and created a "tea chat" group on facebook. I figured this would be a good way for those who wanted to, to be able to get to know everyone a little better. Just type in "Tea Chat" in the search area and it will be the first group that pops up! I hope those of you that have facebook will come and check it out and perhaps make our tea community even closer!

I used to have nothing but my name on facebook. I was dragged on by a friend, and then found most of my friends are not on facebook and I didn't have anything to do there. But I am out of date. I don't have a cell phone either

Playing games... or at least, that's what I seem to do. Sudoku, Scramble WordPath, etc... fun to play while chatting w/ friends (but not chatting w/ friends on Facebook, because that interface is terrible).Salsero wrote:I still don't "get" the whole Facebook thing, frankly. I agree that it can be a time-waster, but it's a good way to get in touch with people you haven't seen or heard from in a while.Salsero wrote:I still don't "get" the whole Facebook thing, frankly. It's also a way for people to provide updates on their situations. For example, a friend of mine is using Facebook to give updates on her husband, who was critically injured a few weeks ago. He stopped to help someone along the freeway, and another car slid off the road and hit him. So for her, it's an efficient way to let people know how he's doing and for her family and friends to give her support in return.
I just think it's fun to be able to throw a bowl of virtual mashed potatoes at someone, or to send someone a mullet haircut with a headband.
