Happy TeaDay everyone. Please stop by and share what is in your cup. Remember to vote in the finals of the Gaiwan Contest under teaware.
Yesterday most responders indicated using multiple teacups on an average TeaDay. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Todays TeaPoll and discussion topic. Space seems to be an issue for many of us. What ratio of tea related storage space goes to your actual tea versus teaware? Best guestimate. Please share.
I am as always looking forward to sharing this TeaDay with everyone. And bottoms up.

70% tea:30% teaware
Althought that ratio is steadily gaining equilibrium.
I've been planning on rearranging my room and dedicating the desk in my room to my tea area, plus I have a mini-fridge in my room being used for the moment solely as a TeaFridge.
Drinking the last of the DHP I got from YSLLC. Hoping some of the TGY I ordered arrives soon.

More for the tea than for the teaware, but only because of the kilos of puerh that I have accumulated for storage. If I didn't have all the pu, it would be more space for teaware than tea ... especially if I drank mostly those evanescent greens ... such as ...
this one, another Korean green I received from a friend lately. I think I like this one better than any of the other Koreans I have tasted so far. The only thing is, the dry leaves are anything but green. They look more like a black tea than a green! Does anyone know what they do to get the leaf so dark? After infusion, it is pretty much a color that would be typical of a lot of Chinese greens, and the taste is that of a green.

Im about 50/50........I have a long shelf that is about 6ft. long and about 2ft wide and there is almost a line right down the middle where tea storage stops and teaware begins. All tea storage is air-tight and light proof....of course...
*Currently enjoying some gyo. karigane (actually didnt ice brew it this time....I suprised even myself!)

*PS For those of you who havent heard......I started a group on Facebook for those of us teachatters who have a facebook account. If you search "Tea Chat" it will be the first group that pops up. I figured this would be a great way for those of us who want to, to get to know eachother a little better and make our tea community grow even closer.

80% of my storage is devoted to tea. That's because I'm pretty new to the tea game so I haven't accumulated a lot of ware, and also because I've accumulated a goodly store of different teas.
Just tried a bag of Adagio's TGY. It was pretty good, a little sweet with some characteristic oolong creaminess.

Cool about facebook- I joined earlier today.
Currently having a cup of coffee- I was all set to play some more with the Rishi snow buds white tea that I have at work but my coteacher had brewed coffee and made sure she brewed enough for me. So maybe tea at recess.

Haven't the foggiest clue of the ratio.
*shrug*
I put 50% as a guess. Varies with shifting interests and inclinations.
Java mate in the cup.

I voted 60:tea/40:wares. I have my teas on a side shelf in the pantry and my pots, cups, etc on a shelf in the cabinet. The pantry shelf is just a bit bigger.
A blend this morning of three Darjeelings. It gave me just enough for my morning tea. My cold has my taste buds a bit screwy, though. I kept getting a chocolate aftertaste - something I've never gotten from any of the teas I used!
