Oh yeah, main course. (Especially if it's steak or or crab. :) )

Main course for me too! (Especially if it's steak or shrimp :) )
I usually don't order appetizers and I rarely order dessert.

And tea, well it's always better at home, even if I do bring my own.

Main course ... except Asian meals I like to have all the courses at once and eat family style.

A good meal is for me all that you mentioned (with the exception of the beverage selection since I don't drink wine).

Yunnan golden tips with my breakfast.

Coffee

Actually I would probably say I enjoy the beverage selection best if the restaurant in question has a good wine/beer/tea! menu.

Just about to have some tea, decisions decisions!

Jack :D

Hm, no "other" this time. The best part about the meal is the company!! But I went with the "main course" for lack of that choice.

Yunnan noir this morning....

I went with "main course." It's very rare that I order appetizers or dessert. And we all know that tea in restaurants is rarely anything to get excited about.

In my cup this morning: Nilgiri Blue from Tao of Tea.

I said main course, but really the whole meal is an experience for me. When I go out I like to take my time and savor everything. Usually after dinner in restaurants I order coffee because they don't have very good tea, but I went to a restaurant in the Twin Cities once that had some awesome tea.

Main course of course! haha... I know its not funny but had to do it.

I love seafood and fish so when I eat out its almost always my main course so thats my favorite.

Had a cup of kenilworth this morning, steeped it a little too long but still good.

Shin Shun Wakamatsu no mukashi matcha (Ippodo) as usacha. A little stronger than the regular version. I didn't find it sweeter though.

I occasionally enjoy appetizers and soup, but I'm a main course girl... love dessert but usually am too full... unless its creme brulee. Theres always room for that. None of my local restaurants have decent tea... my favorite is an oolong at my local hibachi restaurant, and its actually a yamamoto teabag.

In my cup this morning, some Pussimbig FF Darjeeling... getting toward the bottom of this one and it's still delicious and fresh-tasting. I can't wait for spring darjeelings to get here.

I chose "selecting your meal" but didn't see main course. I like that whole process, from choosing to eating it. Didn't select tea, because most of even the upscale restaurants I've been to just did tea bags, maybe varying tea bag companies, but just tea bags. There was this one place in Hawaii, in one of the hotels, that did serve loose leaf... Also served kona coffee in a french press, yum.

Having some Irish Breakfast from Adagio this morning with a spot of milk.

This was a hard one- I love all parts of going out to a nice restaurant- dressing up a bit, noticing the ambiance, selecting the wine and the food, and the company which is usually DH only at fine dining. I selected appetizer for my vote because I have the most fun choosing that. Main course would be a close second with enjoying the wine. We went out to a French restaurant fri instead of sat and it was a nicer than our usual grab a meal place- it's DH's fave but the wine by the glass is limited although what they have is outstanding. Love going out! (Don't usually have tea out though.)

OK! I did it!!!! A big thanks :D :D to everyone's suggestions on my intro thread and to chip for all of his advice and salsero for his nudge yesterday to just do it- I just finished my first cup of kame gyokuro brewed in my japanese gyokuro ware and

it's so unbelievably good!

So how long can I leave the leaves between steepings??? and how long should be next steep be?? Thanks :)

Oh, I'm not sure this would be so ironic if not for the fact that (at the time of this posting) 76% of people voted for main course. I guess it should more around 78%?

This Yunnan Noir from Adagio is good for probably another few cups, but I think I'll be having some matcha later today... maybe an hour before I exercise. Woo hoo!
