Good TeaDay everyone and welcome to our TeaRoom. Please stop by and share what is in your cup throughout the day.
Yesterday responders enjoyed sharing about their dream home compliments of Publishers' ClearingHOUSE. You can still vote and discuss yesterday's topic.
Today is another TeaRoom TeaDay, and even when we are off the tea topic, it is interesting how tea comes into the topic anyway. TeaRoom TeaDays are also an interesting way to get to know a little bit more about each other. Even if you somewhat answered today's topic yesterday, please enlighten us anyway.
Today, after yesterday's dream home topic, the question begs to be asked, where would you put your dream house ... anywhere you want it? Please share details so we can come visit you when we are in the neighborhood.
I am looking forward to sharing our TeaDay with everyone, and bottoms up.

I love my home city of Edmonton and I'd take one of the old Victorian houses hear the University and River Valley.
Not quite Sunday yet but I'm ending Saturday with some basic hojicha from a local shop.

If we're talking total fantasy, I'd want to be in the country, where I could have several dogs, maybe some other pets of the outdoor, live-in-the-barn persuasion.
But that would have to be a fantasy large enough to encompass a full time chauffeur, since I don't drive. So...
I'd choose a specific metropolitan location. Probably Portland or Vancouver B.C. due to their excellent public transportation system, and being in the Pacific NW, which I love. Maybe Seattle. And carefully scouted to be within a block or two of major transportation lines. Also, I'd like my neighborhood to be not excessively hilly so I don't blow out my ventricles trying to ride my bike up the neighborhood Mt. Everest.
Yeah, we've talked about this mystical, magical location before.

I answered Shore or Lake... because I'd love to be near a big body of water... but forest is good, mountains are good, warmer climate rather than colder is good... if we're fantasizing, I'd like all of the above please.
I had a jolting dose of matcha earlier that actually gave me a temporary brain pain... felt like I had a hat on that was way too tight. It didn't last too long, thankfully. I'll cut back a smidge next time. Now doing some Oolong 18, mmm.
Off to bed soon... sweet TeaDreams to all.

Well, I suppose I'd be happy where ever I was. It's not where you are, its the tea you've got.
Currently drinking the 2008 Menghai Da Yi Hong Premium Ripe. Don't often drink ripe pu, but this one isn't too bad. Smells kinda funky but has a really nice balanced taste.

In the forest... definitely not where I am now, which is suburbia.
I decided to give the ali shan that I had yesterday one more go this morning with a 5 minute steep. I am surprised that it is still going, and I am also surprised that I can taste anything.... my allergies are just destroying me right now. Last night was a bit of a nightmare, too... ugh. I will definitely be visiting the pharmacy today.

and the friends you are sharing it with. Lovely thought
I added this info when I answered yesterday's poll- should have given more description of the dream home but
one on the west coast in Florida- I would prob live there jan-may and it would be on a golf course and on Sarasota bay
one in the mountains- for summer and it would have to be near some good hiking trails and a large enough town for good restaurants and other town activities
and the condo in NYC- not sure where in the city- for whenever!
in my cup is my first Ti Kuan Yin from tenren. i am enjoying it- looking forward as has become my habit recently, of some sakura sencha this afternoon.

I would put it in the place I posted the picture from in yesterdays topic. On the hillside (which is covered with grass and plant and tree life) along the Geiranger fjord in Norway. That way I would get the beautiful fjord, waterfalls along the mountain sides and all the green during the spring and summer. And during the winter and autumn I would get the snowy top mountains in the distance.
The alternative would be Uji in Japan, then I could go to Tsuen teashop whenever I wanted to have a cup of delicious green tea.
These polls are brilliant by the way.
Gonna make some Anxi Rou Gui after my lunch now.

Mountains, as the mountains I have in mind will have forest and lakes, too.
Ah, for a vacation home and the TIME to go there!
Hmm, no tea yet. Must remedy this problem...
Although my neighbors are all barbarians,
And you, you are a thousand miles away,
There are always two cups on my table.

I voted shore or lake, but if that shore or lake happens to be in a forest I wouldn''t mind.
Life is like a cup of tea, savor it slowly or it will be gone too fast

That is a nice spot, and you'd be close to some of the greatest white wines of the world.
I could look at your castle by following your link:
