Hi everyone! I've been a fan of tea for a long time and recently discovered how delicious loose teas are! I figured to join since I don't know as much about teas as I previously thought I did, and even less about tea accessories so I'll probably have lots of questions coming up.
I have a few favorites, but I'm still exploring lots of teas that I've never had the chance to try.
Anyways, I hope everyone's having a great day!

Hi Victoria!!
For the time being (I like a lot of tea!) my favorites are honeybush, oolong #8, ceylon, and lapsang souchong. I do enjoy greens a lot too, but I haven't found a "die-hard" favorite for green yet.
Any suggestions? And what are your favorites?

Hi everyone!! You're all so nice!! Thanks for the warm welcome!
KelvanE, I love greens, but I have yet to try the full gamut of them. As for whites I had a poor experience with silver needle but I recently found out I didn't prepare any of it correctly.

Have you tried any Japanese greens yet? I thought I didn't really like greens much until I ordered my first from O-Cha... and Spring Shincha season is upon us in the next few weeks!

Hey again!
Kymidwife, the only loose-leaf greens I've had were from adagio and they were pi lo chun and green anji. Oh, I have some gyokuro but I haven't gotten around to trying that yet. I'll definitely look into the o-cha and shincha when I get some money back into my wallet. Also I feel like there's a lot to learn when brewing these kinds of tea! I looked into gong-fu and was overwhelmed
