Matcha Latte

Every morning I make a matcha latte using melon syrup. Has anyone tried using vanilla syrup in their matcha latte?

I love matcha latte! I use soy milk and a bit of honey. Using vanilla syrup is a great idea.

I'm quite intrigued by the discussion of a matcha latte. I have some matcha at home and I've been trying to figure out what else I can do with it besides drinking straight. What is the recipe you folks use to make yours?

I have never tried vanilla syrup but it does sound good. Worth a try I would think.

I make Matcha Latte doing the following:

1/2 teaspoon of matcha (some call for one teaspoon)

A touch of sugar

1/2 teaspoon melon, vanilla or whatever flavor syrup you wish

6 ounces of hot nonfat skim milk

I use an Aerolatte to froth.

Remember that the hot milk should not be too hot, that will give a bad taste. I always do it without sweetener, 3 decilitres of milk and 1 ml of matcha powder. I like to blend matcha powder with vanilla ice cream too, it's delicious!
